from all of this water, it s cut off these communities. earlier today we saw a rescue vehicle here going to this neighborhood, taking people out of their homes, some of them that were stuck in cars also were rescued overnight. and we have a developing situation closer to houston in bay town, texas, a barge that was on the river, because of the rising water, several of the barges actually broke free and slammed into a bridge over there. authorities were concerned because some of those barges may have had combustible liquid. we have spoken with many of the people who have been evacuated over the last day or so. some of them describe just horrible conditions and surprise that they feel they got more rain this time than they did during hurricane harvey. take a listen. i didn t really experience it the first time with harvey, but i guess just going outside and seeing people begging for help, it was really scary.

last year. they didn t have this last year during hurricane florence. this is a high water rescue vehicle. plenty of reach here. they can get through nasty conditions and rescue people, if that needs to happen. a lot of people i m speaking with a few days ago when i was out there, they are staying at wrightsville beach even though there s the mandatory evacuations in place. during florence last year, once they evacuated, they were not able to get back to their homes for a week, some two weeks. a crazy situation, a lot of damage accumulated. a lot of water damage that people felt like they could have cleaned up and towels and got things back to normal if they got home. one gentleman that i spoke with tested me videos earlier on today of the conditions out on the beach. you can see the waves picking up. you can feel the noise coming in through his cell phone footage. it was hairy out there. in the background, he was playing the song hurricane by bob dylan. in no way are we condoning th
