CHICAGO (CBS) First-term Illinois Congresswoman Mary Miller drew a angry rebukes from some fellow Republicans and Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker after quoting Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler during remarks at a pro-Trump rally outside the U.S. Capitol.
Miller’s speech on Tuesday afternoon was caught on video just a few days after she was sworn into office. She said Republicans need to “win the hearts and minds of our children” in order to avoid losing future elections.
Republican Congresswoman from Illinois Mary Miller.“It is simply outrageous and obscene for anyone to hold out Hitler, who perpetrated the greatest genocide in history, as a role model for any reason,’’ said World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder.
World Jewish Congress (WJC) President Ronald S.Lauder sharply condemned comments made by a Republican Congresswoman from Illinois Mary Miller after a video surfaced from a rally outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington showed her telling the crowd that “Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ‘Whoever has the youth has the future.
She added: Fill your children’s minds with what is true and right and noble, and then they can overcome evil with good because they can actually discern between what is evil and what is good.”
Are you trying to say that allegations and evidence are 2 different things?
And you cannot pretend otherwise. The objection wasn’t to open an investigation. The objection was to replace the result of the election (vote-based electors) with legislatively-determined electors.
I find it funny that these people think a solid defense now is “I just thought it was too easy for people to vote.”
Kinzinger this hour: “It’s with a heavy heart I am calling for the sake of our Democracy that the 25th Amendment be invoked.”
I think Rep. Blaine Wilhour’s tax returns needed to be examined for fraud.
