UPDATE 12:30AM: From Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong regarding Wednesday night s stabbing: At approximately 9:33 p.m. Wednesday the Carson City Sheriff’s Office was informed of a juvenile male, age 17, that had been stabbed during an altercation at the corner of Colorado and Arizona streets in south Carson City.
UPDATE MONDAY: The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the two people critically injured in motorcycle crash Saturday night in Carson City. The are Andrey L. Gallegos, 20, of Sparks, who was the driver of the motorcycle and passenger Audrey G. Rugamas, 21, of South Lake Tahoe. Go here for the updated story.
More details were made available by Reno police this afternoon after a Carson City man wanted for murder fatally turned the gun on himself in a south Reno park.
UPDATE 1:39PM: The following is a statement from Carson City School District Superintendent Richard Stokes: "We are truly saddened to learn of the horrific accident involving our students, their families and our community.
Carson City firefighters and Care Flight responded late Saturday night to the Prison Hill area southeast of Carson City after a 29-year-old man reportedly fell 30 feet. The man was reported to have a head injury, was bleeding from a laceration, was conscious and awake but not alert.
