RENOVO – An active shooter suspect has been detained by law enforcement in Renovo Borough, Clinton County Emergency Services reported Tuesday morning.
The shelter in place has been lifted for all borough residents.
The report comes less than an hour after the Renovo Police Department and other law enforcement agencies requested residence shelter in place indoors and in their homes.

LOCK HAVEN The Clinton County Community Foundation doled out almost $300,000 to community organizations at its annual meeting on Wednesday. The Foundation’s board reviewed each of the 62 grant applications that totaled $440,812 and discussed their intended uses before making final decisions totaling $296,939.

RENOVO – A Lycoming County man is accused of trying to rape a cashier at a store in Renovo.
Lance C. Baker, 35, of Linden, is being held at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail, accused by state police of attempted rape at a business in Renovo.
Bail was set by Magisterial District Judge Frank P. Mills on Dec. 18.
Baker entered the business just before 10 p.m. on Dec. 17 and attempted to sexually assault the cashier, police allege.
“Baker walked up behind the clerk and grabbed the clerk, forcing her into the back room where Baker attempted to sexually assault her,” Trooper Brian Kitko wrote in a press release issued Tuesday.
