The Pequot Lakes School Board kicked off 2021 with its reorganizational meeting, but things should look similar in the new year.
During the Monday, Jan. 4, meeting, Kim Bolz-Andolshek was re-elected board chair, and Curt Johnson was re-elected vice chair.
Tracy Wallin previously held the positions of clerk and treasurer, but the district agreed to split the two roles to “be compliant with statutes.” In the coming year, Wallin will remain clerk, and Susan Mathison-Young will take over as treasurer.
The board agreed to maintain the current board member salary of $250 per month, $350 for the chair and $300 for the officers. When extra meetings arise, board members will be compensated $100 for full-day meetings and $50 for half-day meetings.
