WE know that we buy lots of stuff in our consumer society, but over a quarter of waste is made up of the containers and packaging the stuff is in, rather than the stuff itself. Next week, Mold Plastic Reduction is holding a Community Conversation on Food & Drink Packaging to see what can be done – and what is already being done – about food and drink packaging’s contribution to that staggering statistic.
