A new tenant is moving into Pierremont Mall, filling a vacancy left after Stein Mart s departure.
Stein Mart department store anchored Shreveport s South Highlands neighborhood mall until it closed in 2020. On May 11, Vintage Realty Company announced that the retail space has been leased to a popular gym chain, CLUB4 Fitness.
CLUB4 Fitness will open at 4801 Line Ave. after renovations are complete on the 32,000 square foot space. Construction will begin immediately with a grand opening planned for Fall 2021.
Once the doors open, guests will have access to a gym, expansive cardio spaces, fitness studios, and more at the membership-oriented fitness facility.
Regal Louisiana Boardwalk and IMAX reopens in Bossier City
On May 7, the Bossier City cinema returned to the entertainment scene with screenings for several new movies on the marquee.
New releases now playing are Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man Mortal Kombat and Godzilla vs. Kong, along with many more titles. This week s schedule also features Raya and the Last Dragon, Separation and Tom and Jerry.
Films releasing in the coming weeks include A Quiet Place Part II and F9.
The program of classic film re-screenings will return with dates set through the year. Pre-order tickets are available for titles including My Fair Lady, Jerry Maguire, The Birdcage, showing in June.
Regal Theaters are set to begin reopening this weekend, but Bossier City s two theaters will have to wait a month to reopen.
Regal Louisiana Boardwalk and IMAX will reopen on May 7. Two weeks later, Regal Bossier Corners Cinema is set to open again as well.
Both of Bossier City s theaters have been closed since last October when Cineworld announced it would temporarily shutter all of its movie theaters in the United States after the postponement of the new James Bond film left a big hole in schedules.
The decision to temporarily close Regal Cinemas left Bossier City without a movie theater. Bossier City s two movie theaters are Regal Cinemas theaters. Regal Louisiana Boardwalk and IMAX is located at the Louisiana Boardwalk. Regal Bossier Corners is located at 2800 Shed Road.
