New details emerged on Wednesday about exactly what the Government’s hunt for a Covid-19 vaccine distributor would entail, including a requirement to be able to move through roadblocks in the event of another lockdown. The Ministry of Health’s procurement document said the company that wins the tender must be able to distribute large quantities of dry ice and transport items at ultra-cold temperatures, down to minus 70 degrees Celsius. Several large transport companies have already expressed interest in the contract.
