weeks and it may well keep rising. grady trimble is live in chicago tracking it for us. what do we need to know? unfortunately the falling prices from over the summer seem like a distant memory now that it s fall. the national average today is 3.9 about $0.13 higher than a month ago. $0.10 higher than just last week. refinery problems out west and to some degree in the midwest started the surge. now the parts of the country enjoying relatively low prices compared to other regions could see pump prices go up. gas buddies says in the south and east coast in particular they could see prices increase between 10 and $0.30 per gallon. it s largely because of opec s planned production cut of $2 million a day sending oil prices closer to $100 a barrel. what is your reaction to the opec? president biden:
