The Darebin Intercultural Centre is excited to welcome Zina from Free to Feed, who will demonstrate how to cook baklava! About this event
Zina is a mother of three from a Syriac town in Iraq called Bakhdida Qaraqosh. In August 2014, she and her family were forced to leave a place she describes as full of people who ‘believe in peace’. Free to Feed is a not-for-profit social enterprise in awe of the potential and spirit of refugees, people seeking asylum and new migrants.
Please join us for this free cooking demonstration and improve your baklava making skills.
