The board of Highlands Residential Services, Cookeville s public housing authority, has voted to approve an updated lease for tenants, required by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Most of the funding has now been secured for a new 20-unit housing development in Cookeville intended to assist those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
