Loudonville High graduates receive advice from themselves, others

Teachers with 66 total years retiring from L-P Schools

Jim Brewer Special to the Ashland Times-Gazette LOUDONVILLE - Resignations, for the purpose of retirement, of two teaching staff members with a total of 66 years of experience, were accepted by the Loudonville-Perrysville Board of Education at its March 8 meeting. Retiring were Joan Stoner, fifth-grade science teacher, who has taught a total of 36 years; and Beth Ring, elementary and junior high guidance counselor, with 30 years experience. Stoner’s retirement is effective March 31, and Ring’s at the end of the school year. “That’s a lot of experience going all at once,” Board member Dave Hunter commented as the action was taken.
