The Omaha Public Library’s executive director issued a statement Monday clarifying “some confusion” surrounding two of its programs and apologizing for the removal of recommended reading lists for kids and teens.
Reading Rabbits, an opportunity to interact with rabbits while learning about them with Allysa, from J.K. Pasture Farm by Morgan, is planned Wednesday at both the Worthington and Adrian libraries.
WORTHINGTON The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The youth Summer Reading Programs begin June 13, and go through the beginning of August. Please stop by the library or call (507) 295-5340 by June 9 to sign up your kids.
