PHOTOS: Cannon Falls residents, veterans come together for Memorial Day ceremony

After last year s event was cancelled, Cannon Falls residents and area spectators gathered at the Cannon Falls Cemetery to remember the men and women who have served our country at the Memorial Day cemetery on May 31.  Prior to the ceremony there was a breakfast and parade honoring local veterans. Members of the VFW Post 4452 and American Legion Post 142 walked in the parade and were featured during the ceremony as well.  Rod Johnson acted as the master of ceremonies. Music was performed by the Cannon Falls Community Band.  The featured speaker was Cannon Falls resident Curtis Hermanson, the 2020 – 21 VFW MN State Commander.
