EAST LIVERPOOL Council members met Monday night to wrap up some year-end business.
The special council meeting followed a half hour meeting of the city’s finance committee, where chairman Fred Rayl and member Ray Perorazio approved six pieces of legislation for council as a whole’s later agenda at 5 p.m.
Council members eventually would pass legislation extending the professional consulting services contract with Utah-based Better City for work they completed for and economic resilience program that had been complicated by the pandemic with $40,000 in CARES act money; correcting a wage and benefits ordinance for non-union employees; establishing the funding for new HSA accounts for employees taking the health insurance; and adjusting budget numbers for 2020 as well as making temporary appropriation for 2021.
