KATHUA, May 27: In a major breakthrough against the trade of illicit liquor menace in the district, Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal today recovered six cartoons containing 72 bottles of illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS), Kathua and three persons were arrested.
Police said a team of PS Kathua led by Inspector, Vijay Kumar, SHO under the supervision of DySP Headquarters, Shammi Kumar during the naka checking duty in its jurisdictional area apprehended two persons namely Tanveer Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh and his accomplice namely Gourav Fotra, son of Ravi Dass both residents of Nagri who were plying their motorbike bearing Registration Number, PB06AU-4397.
