Jamie Munguia vs Maciej Sulęcki is back on for the summer after their original date fell through.
Munguia was set to face Sulecki in a middleweight contest on April 23 before the latter had to withdraw due to an injury. D’Mitrius Ballard was briefly installed as a replacement before he, too, suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw.
Many considered Sulecki to be the more interesting opponent for Munguia, and all things considered Sulecki is a serviceable test for his third fight at a new weight class. Munguia’s promoter Oscar De La Hoya expressed his excitement for the return of one of his young stars.

Ryan Garcia scored a seventh round knockout of Luke Campbell, but had to get off the canvas himself before ensuring victory in their Interim WBC Lightweight title clash in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night.
Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs) made a fast start, walking down Campbell (20-4, 16 KOs) and unloading with swift shots, but the Brit did land a short right hook of his own towards the end of the first frame.
The 22-year-old though would be faced with the first gut check of his career hallway through round two, when Campbell landed a massive looping left hand right on the chin that dropped the hot prospect.

Jr middleweight prospect Raul Curiel (9-0, 7 KOs) took care of business against late replacement Ramses Agaton (22-13-3, 12 KOs) at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas tonight.
With only a week to prepare himself for the undefeated Curiel, Agaton proved that he was simply no match for his younger opponent.
