Cadbury has sparked a frenzy with the unexpected announcement that it s celebrating the 50th birthday of the Creme Egg with a limited edition beer.
The Golden Goo-Beer-Lee Creme Stout made in collaboration with Chicago-founded brewers Goose Island will be available to order online with 2x440ml cans for £10.
Social media users have taken to Twitter admitting they re very eager to try the beverage, with many saying they re curious about the taste.
The limited edition drink mirrors the rich and creamy taste of the classic confectionery, by blending malted barley, oats, wheat and milk sugar with cacao nibs and vanilla beans that lift the chocolatey and creme notes.

The chocolate chiefs have teamed up with Goose Island Brewery to celebrate the gooey egg treat turning 50 years old. Yes, 50!
