Uniindia: Bengaluru, June 1 (UNI) Karnataka High Court has acquitted a man of rape charges by holding that sexual assault on dead body does not attract the offence punishable under section 376 of the IPC.
The Karnataka High Court has held that sexual assault on the dead body of woman will not attract the offence of Rape punishable under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. It thus acquitted a man of rape.
