About the most difficult period of our familys lives. What did you find out that your parents had been communists at one point i knew as i was growing up but it was never talked about. It was a shadow of our familys life. But the time i knew my dad he was conscious of him, he had moved on and survived very well and taught me all the lessons i used in my own journalistic career, dont fall for any rigid ideology, search for the truth wherever it takes you. It was only a shadow in our family after that. But at the same time, you didnt talk about it within the family was it was it because tothey wanted to keep it camped down or why . I dont think my father was embarrassed by it but i think he didnt want to be defined by it. He had learned some lessons from that soperiod he always ma clear his idealism and optimism.
