More than 200 people vaccinated at Ramsey pop-up clinic Vaccine rollout begins in the North of the Island
Between the pop-up clinic at Ramsey Cottage Hospital and visits to those who re housebound, 246 people received an initial dose of coronavirus vaccine yesterday.
The latest figures shows public health has administered 10,454 first doses of the jab, and 3,335 of the second.
More than 200 residents in the north of the Island, including Sandra Cannan attended our pop-up vaccination clinic in Ramsey.

Vaccine rollout to begin in Ramsey Facility set-up at Ramsey Cottage Hospital
The start of a vaccine rollout in the north of the Island has been described as fantastic news by the chairman of Ramsey Commissioners.
Around 200 people are set to receive their Covid-19 jabs at Ramsey Cottage Hospital today.
Andy Cowie is delighted residents won t now have to travel to a facility at Ronaldsway Airport.

Thu, 17 Dec 2020 The first batch of Covid-19 vaccine has arrived on Island. The Isle of Man receives vaccine on a per-capita basis through the NHS supply chain, in line with the delivery schedule supplied by the United Kingdom. Delivery of the first proven effective and safe vaccine in the early hours of 16th December heralds the start of the biggest mass vaccination programme ever undertaken in the Island. The vaccine was transported by courier to the Island and has been safely transferred to a specialist medical freezer where it will be stored at a temperature of minus 70 degrees ahead of roll-out.
Pfizer Covid vaccine
The first batch of the Covid-19 vaccine has arrived in the Isle of Man.
Now the Department of Health and Social Care is preparing for the first residents to be vaccinated which should be by Monday next week, if not, then by January 4 at the latest.
The Isle of Man receives vaccine on a per-capita basis through the UK NHS supply chain.
Two trays of 975 doses of the vaccine arrived by ferry in the early hours of December 16.
It was then transferred to a specialist medical freezer, where it is being stored at a temperature of minus 70C.
