The new idol of Lord Ram was placed inside Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi temple yesterday, days ahead of the 'pran pratishtha' or consecration ceremony on January 22.
Ayodhya Ram Temple: The face of the Lord Ram idol which has been placed at the Ayodhya Temple was revealed today, days ahead of the consecration ceremony on Monday.
On Thursday afternoon, the Ram Lalla idol, which has been sculpted by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, was placed in the sanctum sanctorum amid chanting of prayers, Arun Dixit, a priest associated with the consecration ceremony, said.
