After several years of planning, research, designing and construction, the redevelopment of Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in Newport, Oregon, is complete.
The final phases of this project were successfully completed this past winter during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with local, state and federal safety precautions in place. The hospital remained open throughout the entire process of construction and remodeling, so many community members have already had the opportunity to experience the new building. Because of the continued pandemic, the community celebration for this new facility and health care resource will be virtual.
