MURFREESBORO, TN - The Captain William Lytle Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently raised funds for a local non-profit that started in Rutherford County. That non-profit was A Soldier's Child.
To raise money, a raffle was held with the prize being a handmade quilt that was stitched by DAR member Teresa Kant. The prized quilt displayed pictures of historic places throughout Rutherford County. DAR Member Sherri Harding in Murfreesboro told WGNS the quilt was a success. .
