It's no conspiracy. Legacy of late-night radio legend Art Bell is at stake in NJ lawsuit

It s no conspiracy. Legacy of late-night radio legend Art Bell is at stake in NJ lawsuit Posted on What’s unfolding in a New Jersey court might confound even the late-night radio legend and king of conspiracies Art Bell. In one corner is David Rubini, a fast-talking on-air talent with a Texas twang, who styles himself a former protégé of Bell’s and his disciple on the radio mic. Rubini’s nemesis, Michael Marshalek of Hoboken, is a conspiracy-radio fan turned anti-face-mask crusader. Of late, he faces charges for allegedly holding his 5-year-old son captive during a police standoff over COVID restrictions.

Leah Carlene Knowlton

Leah Carlene Knowlton, 28, of Central City, Colo., was an amazing and talented woman who was taken from us by violent hands on Jan. 20, 2021; her family and friends are devastated. Born Feb. 8, 1992, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Joanne B. “Jody” (Yeager) Knowlton of Rapidan, Va., and the late John Wellington Knowlton. She was a 2010 graduate of Fairfield High School and earned an associate degree from Craven Community College in general sciences. Leah loved to run and participated in many races over the years, but was most proud of her Norwegian Hiking Badge that challenged her more than anything before, especially considering her rebuilt knee.

Shattered Glass: Tales of Louisville fans breaking things during games Share this story This week has sucked. After enjoying an unexpected blowout win over a talent-rich WKU squad, Satterfield (initially) shooting down rumors of his candidacy for head coach at South Carolina, Carlik Jones winning the Wade Houston Tipoff Classic MVP, and multiple UK basketball losses, all felt right in the world. It had been a long time since UofL fans had felt this level of balance in the sports world, and to whichever Louisville fan said in this moment of peace “nothing can go wrong!” please go to hell. Because that’s exactly where we’ve all been since Friday.
