Members of the Jewish community, as well as supporters who aren’t Jewish, gathered Tuesday morning to show support for Israel and to denounce antisemitism as city workers painted over graffiti spray-painted on walls in northwest Las Vegas.
An investigation started by Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German before he was slain was recognized last week by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal clinched 61 awards the most awards of any news organization at the Nevada Press Foundation awards, including 24 first-place wins, 20 second-place and 17 third-place awards.
