And it turns out hes the only person ever to earn both awards. He would almost for sure said he did not deserve. You may point out to somebody else who was more heroic than he was. United states today remains the only major country on earth that does not guarantee health care to all people as a right, and that is why i will continue fighting and introduce legislation for a medicare for all singlepayer program guaranteeing health care to every man, woman, and child. When we talk about justice. When we talk about the need for all people in america to be treated equally and with dignity , we have got to deal with hard realities. Those realities include the fact today if you can believe it, and i know you can one in four black males can expect to spend time in prison during their lifetime unless we change that dynamic. This is an unspeakable tragedy and this country can no longer ignore that. Blacks are in prison at six times the great of whites. In the report by the department of justice, blacks were three times more likely to be searched during a traffic stop than white motorists.
