Jamaican sprint great Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce earned an expected victory in the 100m at the second Diamond League meeting of the season in Doha on Friday.
After finishing fourth behind Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith in the wind and rain at Gateshead last Sunday, Fraser-Pryce found conditions more to her liking to cross the line in a season’s best 10.84 seconds, six-hundredths of a second ahead of Nigeria’s Blessing Okabare.
Javianne Oliver of the USA was third 11.03 seconds.
