(Harrisburg) –– Some state and federal lawmakers are holding tight to their view that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court improperly interfered in the 2020 election, further escalating tensions between the legislative and judicial branches that’s existed for years.
Simply tune into media outlets that cater to the conservative base, and you’ll find Pennsylvania’s handling of the election is still a hot topic. In late March, state Sen. Doug Mastriano (R-Adams County) talked about it with former President Donald Trump’s one-time lawyer, Jenna Ellis, on her Real America’s Voice TV show.

Fire companies, veterans organizations and other nonprofits would be permitted to conduct online fundraisers through the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic under legislation that passed the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Wednesday.
The bill, which passed by a 193-8 vote, attempts to address a problem that arose for nonprofit organizations following the onset of the pandemic when they could no longer hold in-person fundraising events such as raffles, drawings and Bingo, which are critical to their financial survival.

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Monday passed legislation urging Congress to do away with the semi-annual clock changing ritual and authorize states to make daylight saving time permanent.
By a vote of 103-98, the House chose to join 15 other states that have passed legislation asking for this change that is currently not allowed by federal law.
