It happened friday in Arapaho High School in centennial, colorado, when a student apparently upset at a teacher, opened fire, critically wounding a classmate before he took his own life and happened ten miles from columbine, high school, sight of one of the worst School Shootings in u. Upset that Deputy Erick Gelhaus the man who shot and killed andy lopez back in october put on a Sonoma County uniform again. [ screaming ] Reporter Police and the crowds clashed at city hall. They said you couldnt come in. They started pushing the crowd and as they started pushing these guys, i snuck around the side and the cop stomped on my foot as i was getting past him. Reporter ending in one arrest. [ screaming and beeping ] reporter from there, the protest went through the streets of santa rosa ending up at the Sonoma County Detention Center the crowd insisting they had the bail money to free arrested protestor ramon only to be told by cops that the protest turned into an unlawful gathering. They then moved to the Sonoma County sheriffs hq with riot officers hot on their tail. Period for Nelson Mandela is over. This morning in the capital of pretoria, a 30foot steel statue of the former president was unveiled in front of the Union Buildings where his president ial offices were and today also happens to be south africas day of reconciliation, a National Holiday that came into effect in 1994 at the end of apartheid. Yesterday more than 4,000 people gathered in mandelas native village to pay their final respects. Allen pizzey has that report from qunu.
