The Solar Energy Industry association, in a report issued just last week, reported that the average weighted cost of a solar p. V. System was 2. 59 per watt, a 15 drop from the year before. And according to the Solar Energy Industry association, utility scale solar, perhaps the best comparison to utilityscale conventional electricity generation, now costs, on average, 7. 7 cents
