Itâs hoped that more people will take to active travel in March after the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority agreed to spend £60,000 on quick win schemes.
Wednesday s transport and infrastructure committee recommended the Combined Authority draw down £60k to help make walking and cycling around March easier, safer and more enjoyable.
Committee members noted how more of Marchâs âQuick Winsâ have been delivered with others moving into construction.
Councillors Jan French and Steve Count campaigned for a zebra crossing in St Peter s Road, which was delivered as a Quick Win scheme.
Following updates on delivery of the Quick Wins , members unanimously agreed to recommend the budget for developing a programme of schemes for walkers and cyclists as part of the overall March Area Transport Study.
