Doha: Belgian Edmilson Junior enjoyed a mesmerising four-goal haul while Brazil international Dudu scored a hat-trick as Al Duhail crushed Al Wakrah 8-1 in their Round-13 encounter yesterday.
All four of Edmilson s goals for the QNB Stars League title-holders came in the first half (2, 10, 16 and 19) . Dudu added 2 more goals (2, 9) to put the host ahead by a margin of 6-1 at half time.
Mohamed Benyettou scored the only goal for Al Wakrah in the 45+1 before Al Duhail continued to thrash hapless visitors with goals from Almoez Ali (70) and Dudu (71 penalty) to seal a dominant win for the Red Knights who moved on to 27 points, eight behind leaders Al Sadd.

Doha: Title favourites Al Sadd will look to extend their unbeaten run when they take on Al Kharaitiyat at home as the 12th round of the QNB Stars League kicks off today.
Al Sadd go into the game with extra confidence after showing impressive performances in the first half of the season as the Xavi Hernandez-coached Wolves top the table with 29 points to remain as the only unbeaten team so far.
Apart from two drawn fixtures, including last week s one-all stalemate with Qatar SC, Al Sadd have dominated the season with a huge goal difference of 28 in their favour.
