6 October 2021 - On 28 September Qiniso Dlamini (17) was fatally shot during a scuffle with farmer Garth Simpson (68) near Glencoe, in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. The IRR has sent two Daily Friend writers, Terence Corrigan and Caiden Lang, on a fact-finding mission to the area.
The Grade 10 pupil and his teenage relatives had apparently been tracking their family’s cattle when they found them on a local farmer’s property when an altercation, which was captured on video, broke out.
