Elon Musk Powers Dogecoin Price to $0.50 Ahead of SNL Appearance: Will It Reach $1 Value?

If you have not invested in Dogecoin, then it is better to start considering it now. On Tuesday, May 4, Dogecoin soared past the $0.50 mark, and predictions say it will only continue to rise.
Dogecoin, also popularly referred to as the meme coin, was developed by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a cryptocurrency fun alternative that most traders used to think of as a joke. However, traders cannot ridicule it anymore, as the Dogecoin value grows at an incredibly rapid pace. In less than a day, Dogecoin s value rises from its $0.45 mark and easily breaks past $0.50.
Ethereum ETF Approved While ETH Gives Bullish Signals
The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) from Canada has approved four Ethereum Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to be launched on April 20, 2021. The financial products were petition by CI Global Asset Management, Galaxy Digital, Purpose Investments, and Evolve ETFs.
Three months ago, Canada became the first country in North America to approve a Bitcoin ETF. At that moment, Purpose Investments received a “massive” advantage when it could launch its Bitcoin ETF a day before the competition, as stated by Bloomberg Intelligence ETF expert James Seyffart.
Now, the regulator seeks to create a “fairer” competition. The ETFs management fees will also be highly competitive with CI Galaxy offering 0.40%, Purpose 1%, Evolve 0.75%. Seyffart added:

The total value of all cryptocurrencies passed $1 trillion Wednesday for the first time ever, per CoinGecko‘s index of 6,124 assets. At its prior peak in late 2017, the market’s total capitalization was just above $760 billion, according to TradingView.
Bitcoin represents roughly 69% of the market’s value, according to Messari.
Traders aren’t surprised by the market’s soaring value.

Ethereum Gaining Interest as Institutional Asset Class as Decentralized Finance Gets Boost with Bitcoin focused DeFi Platform: Report

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s largest smart contract platform, and major decentralized finance (DeFi) assets have dropped during the past week. However, DeFi-related infrastructure is getting a boost from Bitcoin (BTC), according to a report from OKCoin.
During the last week, top DeFi platforms such as Yearn.finance (YFI) and Aave (AAVE) faced moderate price corrections while some smaller-cap initiatives experienced strong gains.
The report from OKCoin noted:
“The fundamentals of the DeFi space continued to gain strength… The Ethereum 2.0 upgrade saw further support from users while individual protocols announced positive developments. The space also got a big boost with a group of developers launching a Bitcoin-focused DeFi platform to attract BTC holders.”
