Chair of the EU-Qatar Friendship Group in the European Parliament H E Jose Ramon Bauza hailed the mediation role played by the State of Qatar in Gaza and the Horn of Africa, stating that it illustrates the contributions of the State of Qatar to advancing a more prosperous and peaceful world.
“As Chair of the EU-Qatar Friendship Group, I look forward to continuing working with H E Head of the State of Qatar Mission to the European Union Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi towards that goal,” he said in a statement.
President of the France-Qatar Friendship Group in the French National Assembly MP Pascal Brindeau thanked the decisive efforts made by the State of Qatar, which resulted in success in reaching a ceasefire agreement in the occupied Palestinian territories.
