Egypt will host a summit for Sudan’s neighboring countries, on Thursday to discuss ways to end the current conflict and its negative repercussions on neighboring countries.
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell announced that the European Union will provide 20 million euros for Egypt to support Sudanese refugees.
Egypt announced imposing an entry visa for Sudanese citizens coming to its territory, after "the spread of illegal activities," according to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Saturday.
Egypt has received 200,000 Sudanese refugees since the beginning of the conflict, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi announced during a joint press conference with Angolan President Joao Lourenco in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
