Concern expressed over detainees’ plight in jails Srinagar, January 09, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiris, detained under black laws, especially of those languishing in different jails of India including Delhi’s Tihar jail. Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and APHC leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori and Abdul Samad Inqilabi in their statements in Srinagar said that India in line with its malicious plan has put the lives of the Kashmiri prisoners at risk particularly in the present environment of Covid-19 pandemic in Indian jails. BJP Worker Escapes Unhurt As Gunmen Target His Vehicle In Jammu BJP Worker Escapes Unhurt As Gunmen Target His Vehicle In Jammu JAMMU: A BJP worker had a narrow escape as unknown gunmen attacked his vehicle near Qasim Nagar Chowk in Bagh-e -Bahu Jammu on Friday evening. Official sources said that at around 1805 hours, a scorpio vehicle (JK02CD-0799) parked at Qasim Nagar was fired upon with pistol. There was no loss of life or injury in the incident as the vehicle owner Liaqat Ali son of Showket Ali of Raika Bahg-e-Bahu Jammu was purchasing house goods from Narwal market.
