energy production business. president trump, one of the first things his national security team decided was that the u.s. was going to maintain energy independence and we were going to pump oil and gas and use it to sell to others to get them to follow american policies. this was great policy. biden has just turned his back on it. that s why we have the collapse of the american position. we have never seen this in our life time. we re back to the carter era of the u.s. being considered the weak person in the world. this is incomprehensible. there was a moment, ari fleisher, during this xi and putin summit at the very end. i know they wanted this to go viral. i know they wanted the world to see it. president xi saying we have an opportunity we haven t seen in over 100 years. my interpretation of that is they now want to be the sole dominant super power in the world. do you agree or disagree?

yes. i think that there are a lot of things happening to russia which are pretty extreme sanctions wise. but, i think that there s more that can be done. for example, we ve only sanctioned roughly two dozen oligarchs who are effectively supporting the government. there are 118 oligarchs on the forbes list. they should probably all be sanctioned because they re effectively involved in funding a terrorist regime. so there s more that can be done. there s more that should be done. and if this is what pushes that those sanctions in that direction, then this is a good idea. yeah. some of them involved in hiding putin s money as well. we were in geneva, last summer, the biden/putin summit and the discussion there was of strategic stability in this relationship. here we are less than a year later and now the administration considering labeling russia a state sponsor of terror.
