Spruce Grove and Stony Plain residents opened their hearts to children in need this Christmas.
A total of 373,188 gift-filled shoeboxes donated by Canadians last December are being sent to children in need around the world over the next few weeks, including those in Central America and western Africa. Of that amount, Albertans packed 74,791 shoeboxes in 2020, with Spruce Grove and Stony Plain residents contributing a total of 1,049.
