Jordan Cason s tp five finish in the high jump highlighted Watertown High s efforts Tuesday in the Division I Small state track and field meet at Rockvale High School.
A senior who plans to play football at Lindsey Wilson, Cason jumped 21-02 in his signature event and placed fourth out of 16 entrants.
Alcoa sophomore Jordan Harris won the event with a leap of 22-11.25, slightly ahead of senior Lorenzo Currie from TN School for the Deaf at 22-10.
Whites Creek junior Benjermin Drake claimed third place with a jump of 22-01.25.
Cason placed 12th in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.43 and fouled out of the triple jump.
