(MURFREESBORO) In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the entire week honors those officers. At 10:00 o'clock this coming Thursday morning (5/18/2023) the Murfreesboro Police Department (1004 N. Highland Ave.) will hold a community-wide ceremony honoring fallen officers from all agencies that serve Rutherford County.
