Oregon reports 8 more COVID-19 deaths, including Crook County's 8th

Woman, 95, died on New Year s at her home; tech issue reduces case count PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ)  COVID-19 has claimed eight more lives in Oregon, including Crook County s eighth death, raising the state’s death toll to 1,558, the Oregon Health Authority reported Wednesday. OHA also reported 764 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, bringing the state total to 120,223 cases. Wednesday’s case count is lower than anticipated because a server outage led to unscheduled database downtime Tuesday, OHA said. In addition, Wednesday’s Tableau updates will not include electronic laboratory reporting information from Tuesday. The agency said, We anticipate that electronic laboratory reporting information will be updated tomorrow (Thursday).
