When there is constant reference to the high cost of living and how tough things are, why is the average punter raiding the piggy bank to send to kids to private schools?
If we were to alter our taxation to gain more revenue from high-earning fossil fuel industries and resource and mining profits, with appropriate resource rental taxes, we could lower the income tax level and provide more services for people.
