Officials say a Waterbury woman is suspected of stealing nearly $5,000 in Connecticut SNAP benefits by concurrently receiving SNAP benefits in another state.
All of the charges, imposed in April, involved separate alleged incidents recounted in arrest warrants, of misuse of food stamp assistance, also known as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP, benefits, according to state authorities.
