Sadly, the total number of deaths has reached 151, and we are seeing 5,000, almost 6,000 tests per day. Our Positivity Rate has went from a record low to now 1. 28 , and what does all this mean . We are seeing an uptick. Two weeks ago, we put a pause on our reopening efforts, and we made it clear to the people of San Francisco that we are seeing the number of cases increase, and we should be concerned. We had plans. Who should remote learn . Who should teach Remote Learning . Is this the school year that is lost, and can kids really learn and benefit as best they can from such a variety of issues . And is the gap between the haves and havenots, is at widening . What needs to change right now to promote and protect the greatest potential for every child in every neighborhood in every Apartment Building in every shelter . Because times are that tough. Just come on into the conversation if you like. What im hearing is that we actually have pretty much consensus on item number 1. Item number 2, i feel there is a pathway there. Item number 3, i believe it will take more work with the Sheriffs Department. As a board member, we dont have the authority to actually change the rules and procedures within the electronic monitoring in the Sheriffs Department, but we can actually help facilitate a conversation that we reach a consensus and agreement on how we can better serve those people, those clients we are serving.
