Though challenged by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Greater Sudbury Police Service is moving forward with initiatives to connect with racial and cultural minorities and disadvantaged members of the community.
Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Services Board voted on Wednesday to approve a donation of $2,500 from its donations reserve fund for the 2021 Association of Black Law Enforcers Scholarships and Awards, and another $1,000 for the 2021 Samaritan Centreâ Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser.
