The developer’s residential arm has submitted an application to build 81 homes on land between the B5419 and Clock Face Road in Sutton Heath.
Breck Homes bought the seven-acre site, south of St Helens town centre, from Searchdash Holdings for an undisclosed sum.
Subject to the approval of plans, the homes will be available for shared ownership and affordable rent and are to be managed by Progress Housing Group.
Breck’s proposals also include an area of public open space alongside Pendlebury Brook, which runs through the site.
Mosaic Town Planning is the planning consultant for the project.
