Boston Celtics team president Danny Ainge is considering stepping down from the position, ESPN reported on Wednesday.
The Celtics were eliminated from the playoffs in five games by the Brooklyn Nets, who dominated Game 5 of the first-round series on Tuesday.
ESPN reported Ainge was seriously considering his future with the franchise he has served as both a player and general manager.
Sports Illustrated reported Ainge would be weighing other opportunities if he leaves Boston.
Ainge, 62, has been at the top of the Celtics front office for the past 18 seasons.
