May is National Historic Preservation Month, and the DNR Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology (DHPA) celebrates Indiana’s historic places every year in a variety of ways. Hoosiers are invited to participate in the Historic Preservation Month Photo Contest. Guidelines allow a photographer to select one of five contest categories to enter their photo.
Protecting the city s existing historic resources, documenting new ones and promoting a greater understanding of local history through equitable stoytelling are among the goals of Danville s Preservation Plan.
